Funny Video

I hope this makes you smile...

Sunny Day

Yesterday was a beautiful day and we tried to enjoy every moment of it. Noah & I had fun exploring Weatherford and then in the evening we took a bike ride with Mike. Noah did a few funny things yesterday that reminded me how much I love being his mom.
1. We were outside playing on the driveway waiting for Mike to get home when Noah plopped down on the driveway, ran his hands across the asphalt, and then bent over and licked the asphalt. He did this 3 times, unfortunately I was unable to capture it on camera. Sometimes I think Noah thinks he lives in Candyland because he wants to put everything in his mouth!

2. I could not find the remote control any where. The last time I saw it, Noah was walking around the house carrying it. I searched in all the usual places- under the furniture, on the chairs, and in cabinets with out any success. Then I noticed his dump truck across the room....

And there it was, along with his plastic giraffe..

Noah, that is a good place for it :)
3. In life there are moments that make you stop and soak life in. For some reason this was one of those moments for me...We just left the shoe store and were walking across the parking lot. He was walking beside me holding my hand and I thought wow, what a big boy he is ...WALKING across the parking lot in his big boy shoes, camo shorts, Aggie shirt, and willingly holding my hand. Before I know it I will be teaching him how to look both ways before crossing the street. I am going to enjoy all the kisses, hugs, and hand holding I can for now and hope it lasts forever.

Valentine's Surprise!

Hope you had a happy Valentine's Day! I worked (boo!) but my sweet husband surprised me at work with a singing card ("I Can't Fight This Feeling.."). He noticed that I had laughed out loud at the commercial (link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxDHR_8sbUY) so he got me the card. Then when I got home I got the best gift- an attachment for my bike to haul Noah around. Thank you Mike! I love it.

I read the funniest quote from Will Ferrell regarding how he spent his Valentine's-

"My usual: Dress as Cupid and chase my wife around the house with competition-level bow and arrows"
